06Quality

Checked during
production.

Catching a tension fault at course 40 costs an hour. Catching it at final inspection costs a shipment. Our inspectors work in-line and issue the remedy on the spot where one exists, rather than writing a report about it afterwards.

06.1Inspection points

Six places a garment is stopped and looked at.

Quality assurance reports to management, not to production. That distinction is the whole system: an inspector who reports to the floor they are inspecting is not an inspector.

06.2Our obligations

Four commitments, written plainly.

01

Dependability

On-time merchandising and on-time shipment are the two things a buyer cannot manage around. Shipment status is reported against the agreed window rather than when you chase it, and a slip is flagged the week it becomes likely — not the week it becomes certain.

02

Compliance

We work to the compliance requirements our customers nominate, and we hold allied production units to the same written evaluation guideline. Current certification status, audit reports and factory documents are provided on request — we would rather send you the actual paperwork than print a badge on a website.

03

Environment

Wash, extraction and drying are the water- and energy-intensive part of a sweater, and they are the part we control directly. Recipes are written and repeatable rather than adjusted by eye, which cuts re-processing — the single biggest source of avoidable water and energy use on a knitwear floor.

04

Safety

Fire fighting arrangements and smoke detection are maintained on the production floors, and every floor has designated emergency exits for workers and staff. Safety provision at allied production units is part of the evaluation guideline before any of your goods are placed there.

06.3Documentation

Ask, and we send the actual paperwork.

Vendor onboarding usually asks for a specific bundle of documents. Rather than publish a wall of logos, we would rather you tell us which of these you need and receive the current version, dated.
