A sketch is enough to start. These six things are what turn a sketch into a number you can take to a buying meeting.

    The more literal the better. A worn sample tells us more than a flat drawing.

    If you do not know the gauge, describe the weight and we will propose one.

    Quantity per style and per colour

    Minimums move with gauge and colourwork; tell us the real number.

    Graded, if you have it. If not, we will grade from your block.
