Cable, Aran & Texture

Heavy texture is a weight problem before it is a design problem. A six-strand cable on 3GG in a wool blend will gain grams fast, and the garment has to still hit the buyer's target weight after wash. We cost texture by knitted weight per panel, not by the sketch.

The 100 sets of 3GG hand flats carry the chunky end of the range. Aran panels, honeycomb, plaited and rope cables, and links-links reverse texture are all built on the bed rather than assembled afterwards.

Chunky knits move in the wash. Our four automatic washers, two hydro extractors and three tumbler dryers are run against a written recipe per quality, and shrinkage is measured on a knitted swatch from the actual dye lot before bulk goes in.
